Would love those blueline additions, but both the Murphy trade and the Desharnais contract extremely favour the Sens. The value isn't there at all for Chicago, and there's no shot a 6'7 RHD with his defensive results is signing for less than 2.5mil.

Yeah, that Chicago deal is not going to fly. Don't need more LD, don't need another goalie. So you really aren't offering much.

I agree with all that, but also the goaltending is really, really bad, and Hamonic should definitely be bought out.

Yeah, fire Hamonic into the sun for sure. Idk what the solution with goaltending if though. As the Sens continue to develop their team structure under Jacques Martin, goaltending has become less of a story, but I'm still not sold on either guy right now.
