Seems like you’re overpaying for Kubalik
And underpaying for Middleton

The Minnesota trade is way off (both in value and need). To start, the pick is going the wrong way.

BOS declines OTT, taking out DeBrusk would make it closer, but neither team wants either of those guys

Griz and JVR have little to no value, if the 2nd was going the other way, it still wouldnt be enough for Middleton

These are kinda bad for Boston, sets them back more then anything and Minnesota isn't trading a 2nd round pick when they're likely missing the playoffs.

Kubalik is a downgrade from JVR and Debrusk and has a higher cap hit then JVR, none of this makes any sense for Boston.

What's the point for Boston with that Ottawa trade? To clear cap?

Well, Ottawa also doesn't have cap space, they'd need to move Tarasenko first without taking salary

Minnesota has 0 interest in the Middleton trade. Why would we trade a defenseman who continues to get better along with a pick for two guys that we have no need for?

well this weird. I don’t think I have ever seen a pair of trades so lopsided the opposite ways.

Debrusk > Kubalik. So is JVR for that matter.

If you removed Debrusk it’s still a bad trade for Boston.

Middleton is a great target, but you’d have to remove the 2nd from Minny and JVR and add a 1st going to Minny.
