yea cbj say no to that. we take on bad players with term, make our RHD logjam worse, and all we get for it is afterthought draft picks?

Jackets would do those two with retention for a third most likely. No room to take guys back though, especially not RD and a scratch with term.

Rosolvic and Benstrom add nothing to the Leafs to Leafs
Pretty foolish to be trading the Leafs best goalie.

I might be off on this one but from what I see Chicago hangs up immediately upon receiving this offer. Not one piece equals a 1st, Samsonov is a pending UFA, the Hawks are set at LD unless someone that knocks Kyle Davidson's socks off becomes available, Liljegren is decent but Murphy's leadership is more valuable, and the 3rd is underwhelming.

Hawks easily decline. That offer wouldn't get Murphy alone without retention.
