Description
Lines are assuming Demidov would come over, his KHL Deal is until 2025 - 2nd line becomes
Newhook - Dach - Roy

Trade Thoughts
Evans - in the short run Gignac has had I think he can easily play on the 4th line next year and also be a good PK. Plus the fact Dvorak will be back makes us have enough centers to trade one and Dvorak is unlikely to be traded due to his Cap which is why I chose to move Evans

Allen - Pretty self explanatory, Montreal needs to cut a goalie and Allen should be the one gone weather it be waivers or trade idc Primeau deserves more time in net.

Savard - His stock is high this year and I doubt he's moved so ride the high and trade him before he touches the ice next year, take a page from the Anderson book and don't try to wait for the next big deal cause it may blow up in ur face

Ylonen - The guy isn't a bonifide top 6 player but on THIS years team he could easily be playing in the Top 6 instead he's stuck on the 4th line with minimal time and he's always scratched in line for pezzetta to play... He deserves a shot to really become a good middle 6 player.

Harris - Loses out to the other LHD / Especially if the plan is for Hutson to play with the big club in 2024/25

Fair, but not needed.

On the fence on this one.

Canucks might do this at the TDL in 2024. Savard would be most valuable for a playoff run. We might need a little retention too.

Canucks would rather just extend Myers for 1 x $2M. Don’t have to give up the 2nd and it’s half the salary.

Other teams might have some leverage over the Habs need to make a move, waivers might be the end of them if not

Figured it would be decent for Bruins, get a little younger and a 3rd to them right now isn't big

Yeah the comp here would be the Caps having to give away siegenthaler for a 3rd bc they didn’t have space

i feel like a lot of teams would be all over him if Habs took offers, Dvorak would be my first choice to go but his cap is too much

Canucks pass. Would rather re-sign Myers/sign a different FA with the cap space or just play Juulsen on the 3rd pair

NJD would offer their 24 3rd round pick as a starting point for negotiations

Maybe. $2M-$3M is probably a more accurate analysis. Still not worth giving up a 2nd for Savard when we can get just as good, if not a better player on the same contract through free agency (see Ian Cole/Carson Soucy, both around $3M last season). You’d be better off holding Savard and dealing him 50% retained at the deadline anyways, he’d return more value at that point than in the offseason.

I don't see why Evans would need to be traded, as of now. If I'm Hughes I would rather use Harris in a package come draft or even TDL, than to ship him off for another pick, which we have plenty of.

He'd be moved going into 2024/25 not this year / I know i have TDL but more likely for the Draft or offseason and the 2024/25 centers would be
Suzuki
Dach
Dvorak
Gignac
