I don't see Chicago being interested in Smith unless it's a cap dump situation. I definitely don't see them trading positive assets to acquire him.

You want Anderson, that can be arranged. However, it looks like you are more interested in the cap relief. Hawks might give it if they strike out on their targets in free agency. If they don’t strike out, Pens would need to add a sweetener.

MP to NJ wild be a smart move and even though they won’t move him, Jarry would be a smart offseason trade to NJ if they don’t add Gibson or Markstrom.

I would do Reilly Smith plus a 4th in the summer. That way it’s his last season.

It's more about the value than the destination; can replace it with another team. I think getting a cheap/young goalie should be a good priority for them

Definitely a cap dump. I just picked a random RFA for the Hawks. Smith isn't bad and could be helpful for the hawks growing their team. At best Pens add a late pick which they would be comfortable with

Pettersson at 50%+Jarry for Vitek+3 1sts or something along those lines who knows.

I'm sure we could figure something out.

    Vitek+1st for Jarry
1st+Bahl (who I value at around a 2nd) for Pettersson, and replace bahl with a 1st for the retention.

    Let's make some magic happen

And of course picks could be swapped out for whatever prospects/young players are valued in that area by each team. I like to use picks bc it just avoids any potential bias in evaluations.
