If i was GM/Coach - i'd go for fluery, cheap, can split, provides presence and mentoring to young goalies and keeps the room light. I think if the team plays defense, daws is fine, unless theres some big trade for saros coming, but his next contract will be a doozy...if we wanted to pay that, we shouldnt have payed meier that much imo

I'd get miller on PP1 temporarily (1-2 games) to blast away, will start to open the seams for bratt and jack who like to go through the high slot,

i'd get smith at 4L LW to start mucking it up and getting energy in the building at home games, gives you an option later in games to play d on pk etc in tight spots

I would also dabble with Henrique, bump bastian to a scratch and have lazar play RW - no idea what value looks like so maybe this is way off idk

i do think trading holtz is a mistake if that rumor is true, i know the internet hates his usage, but he is clearly developing
