I'm not sure Myers is an upgrade over Perbix. And Vancouver isn't attaching a 2nd to move him at this point either. Doubt the Kings are trading Turcotte. And definitely not for a RD.

Yeah Vancouver isn't paying to get rid of Myers he's been pretty good this year under Tocchet/Foote he still has his moments but considering we've paid 5.5m of his cap already so could probably get a team to retain on him as instead of 3m it's like 250k of real money. Only reason we move him is a to make cap room in a trade for an improvement on the Defense.

The Canucks wouldn’t pay to dump Myers. They definitely aren’t moving Hoglander, and would probably only consider moving Podkolzin if it’s in a package for a top 6 winger

Canucks won't pay to dump Myers. He's played well this season, only way he'd be moved is in a package for an upgrade at RHD (something like Myers + 2nd for Tanev).

Why would Tampa want Myers?
I think Tampa should get Hanifin rather than Myers.
I'm just saying.

Alex Turcotte is starting to come into his own and show why he was selected fifth overall in his draft. We won't be trading him for a measly third and a RhD who is redundant in light of Doughty, Clarke and Spence even if we lose Matt Roy.
