I don't mind it from the hawks perspective. Ceci can fill some of Murphy's role if we end up moving him. Could also flip Ceci again next year if we wanted too.

I'd accept this for PIT. Would prefer no retention but it's a good offer imo.

that was kinda the though tbh, Chicago can test him out see if he meshes well and if not you can retain a little and trade him to a contender next year

I wouldn’t mind taking on Ceci but only if they trade Murphy. Also not sure if I would trade Raddysh to acquire Ceci.

Not enough for WSH, especially given the time value of money and the picks being distant future.

Rads had struggled a lot this year, which is fair pretty much the whole team has, but I would prefer this to leaving him unqualified at the end of the year which I could see happening.

If i'm the Caps i'm looking for a 1st, Broberg or Holloway for Dowd. Imagine Holloway might be a bit much for Dowd so if i'm them i'd do Holloway and a 4th or something for Dowd + Edmundson. Edmondson 50% retained probably worth a 3rd and some change (Caps paid a 3rd and a 7th in the offseason for that exact deal).

No doubt Raddysh has struggled putting the puck in the net this year but I think he has expanded his game in other ways, for example being used on the PK. I personally have no doubt he will be qualified, the offer I believe will be less then $1m and being just one season removed from a 20 goal year, you definitely qualify him.

Certainly a fair point. I did not realize he was getting that much PK time this season.
