COL isn’t trading a top 4 dman at the deadline, no contender trades top 4 dmen at the deadline.

Value is crazy good for cbj just don’t see management allowing a jenner trade with this much term left on his contract. Plus he’s the team dad that everybody loves. Even after the shut show this summer. Product of Nick folignos leadership.

CBJ fans really wouldn't move on from Jenner for Savoie, a 1st, two 2nd, and a 2nd round goalie prospect? As a Sabres, fan that's an awful offer but CBJ fans saying they wouldn't do it is something. Kuraly and Peeke are throw in's in my book. They're a 4th liner and a 3rd pair guy. You have a better RHD in AHL already.

That's pretty fair for Middlestadt but then it's not enough after you gave away Girard for a bag of pucks.

Value wise y’all overpay by a landslide, just don’t see the ownership moving Jenner as they have already come out and said they do not want him moved. (Not directly but through all media that have discussed the situation)

Would I take it? Absolutely! Just don’t see it being realistic which is where I think most cbj fans are coming from.

We're in a phase of development where we need more guys like him, not less. That being quality veteran mentors committed to the team who are still major contributors to same (read: not #13F/#7D free agents). As much as we could hypothetically get for him it just ultimately doesn't make sense for us to move him. The leadership void that Buffalo would hope to fill by picking him up is the same one we'd be striving to avoid by keeping him.

Colorado and Buffalo both decline that trade.
