that hanifin deal goes beyond a crazy overpay. sadly, a lot of calgary fans feel that's reasonable.

Maybe the most accurate title I've ever seen for an ACGM

Poitras & Lohrei are B+ Prospects, but this is what BOS would have to offer to start with to entice the Flames, otherwise we’ll get better Picks & Prospects for Hanifin elsewhere

Hanifin has already declined contract offers and stated he is leaving and wants to be traded, flames aint stripping any team of a bunch of picks and prospects, that’s probably why a trade hasn’t gone through yet.

Remember the Taylor hall trade?

Hanifin is the #1 available Trade Piece at this years TDL. He should fetch a haul and something similar to what we just received for Elias Lindholm = ~ Two (2x) 1st Round Picks+

What’s your confusion!? Lohrei & Poitras are good prospects playing on a top team. BOS Fans think they’re both the 2nd coming of Christ. It’ll take a 1st + Top = A Prospect or TWO Top Prospects minimum to land Hanifin

Are you aware who Hanifin is, how good he is at playing a a full 200ft game in all situations playing 22-24mins/night and how good of a season he’s currently having!?

Take out Olson and add Boston's 2025 1st Rd Pick and you're close to a deal.

Have you actually looked at the failure rate of late first round picks and prospects graduating from the CHL teams to the AhL?

No one thinks these guys are the second coming of anybody. They are plus prospects who project in the top 2 lines and people question the rationale of giving them up when there is a reasonable belief that Hanifin will be available on July 1st.

You aren’t getting that return. Rip the Boston minor league system all you want. Name the last trade you mentioned where the opposing teams fans didn’t think you were utterly crazy?

Lindholm’s return is what you’d expect considering you took a cap dump.

Zadarov got exactly what I thought he would in a trade.
