Canes fans hate Jarry for some reason...

Devils are toast for the year as long as Lindy is still the coach. They aren't spending a 2nd on a backup. Daws is fine to finish. They can otherwise find someone cheaper behind him.

Canes fans ‘hate’ Jarry for the same reasons that the Pens are trading him. His contract and play…better options in the organization.

No lol he's been great this year. Dubas wants to make big changes and his play plus seeing the goalie market can bring that change. He's one of the three reasons (other two being Crosby and Ned) are why the Penguins aren't last overall drafting Celebrini right now.

Goalie returns are almost always lower than expectations, and if the Pens have any desire to remain competitive they should be keeping Jarry. Ned ain’t the guy (we can both agree) so I’m struggling here to understand this.

Unless you’re going scorched earth (and the Pens won’t with Crosby), you will keep Jarry. Dubas wont pull the trigger when he gets underwhelmed by the offers.

Canes aren’t trading a top 6 forward for a goalie. Especially one who is hardly any better than a healthy Andersen.

Jarry's save percentage is the same as Kochetkov's... no. This idea doesn't work
