I don’t understand why the hawks wouldn’t want Kuzy , gives Bedsy a good player to play on a line with. I’d like to see it happen

For the same reasons that Washington is willing to put Kuz on waivers.

I don’t know if they have or not but I do know the Hawks have a lot more cap space then Washington this season and next so they would easily be able to afford retaining on Kuznetsov.
