if the ducks are willing to go that low on a Zegras deal then it will be beat by a few teams. theres plenty of teams with picks between 5-15 this year that would probably move their 2024 first plus for Zegras

Just for conversation sake, Kirby Dach was traded for #13OA. Between Zegras and Dach, I'm taking Zegras 11 times out of 10. Much more prolific even if he's a bit of a showboat. So 13OA would likely be the foundation of a Zegras trade.

100% agree that most would view Zegras ahead of where Dach was, thats the point i was making, a package based off what will probably be a 24th or higher pick in 2025 isnt coming close.

That's a fair opinion, although I don't agree with your last sentence. Your esteemed colleagues @Garak and @HawksGuy81 and I agree that Chicago shouldn't pay what Anaheim will want.
