Habs say no on both deals. Habs already have too many LHD. Hes not needed. Id rather use those assets for a forward

Johansson is a good veteran... byram a defender who won the Stanley Cup he could help other prospects or suspects to develop.

This team would be sick, but I can tell you for certain Kings aren’t letting Byfield get offer sheeted by anyone.

As good as Mikko is Detroit isn’t trading away their Cappy for him.

Why yes, Detroit would love to blow apart their center depth to add yet another winger.

Rantanen will look better than he ever has centered by Joe Veleno.

Habs aren't trading Heineman for Johansen.

As for the second trade, while I do like Byram, I doubt MTL would be willing to part ways with what you're asking, especially considering LHD isn't an organisational need at this point.

Sabres won't trade Muel for Manson but we'd offer you a 3rd and 5th in the offseason

Can Byram play on the RHD side? Obviously the opportunity to add a player of that caliber is always interesting, but man we are stacked at LHD and Byram would join Matheson, Guhle, Hutson, Struble, Harris, Engstrom... It's just too many LHD at this point.

RJ for Heineman is a short-sighted move for the Habs. We don't know what Heineman will be, maybe nothing, but we should take the time to find out.
