Did you take into consideration that the only way Skinner is moved is
1. He waives his NMC (he wants to stay close to home)
2. Buyout

Will they? No. Not unless Boone requested out for some odd reason, and Power switched handedness and somehow got even better.

If you have the opportunity to acquire Owen Power for a price that doesn't cripple the team, you take it and you figure out logistics later. You let Mateychuk simmer through his ELC, play someone on their offhand (which is incidentally what Buffalo does anyway since they've got five LHD in the lineup). Now, do I think this is the trade to do it? No. But Jiricek for Power with other moving parts isn't something I would dismiss out of hand.
