Description
Crosby issue: As GM I would do whatever he wants, if he wants to go, trade him wherever he wants, and if he wants to stay then keep him. I think that even if GM would ask him if he'd want to chase another cup on another team he'd probably insist on staying a Penguin for life.

Habs decline. Price is LTIR and Dvorak is done after next season, not worth taking Rakell on

I agree. However, I could see Kaiser being moved early next season if he doesn’t take a solid spot on the roster.

Prices contract is LTIR and like 85% insured. He also only owed 15m in the last 2 years. Rakell is full cap hit for another 5 years. To move that deal, the Pens would have to eat anderson and add a 1st

I guess it's possible since Kyle didn't draft him. But Kaiser is still waiver exempt next season and it will be just his 2nd full season of pro hockey. He could still grow from another year playing top 4 minutes in Rockford.

Valid point. My only counter/consideration to this is the lack of LHD spots on the roster for him down the road. You have to think Korchinsky is a top 4, Vlasic the same, and we still have Del Maestro and Allan in the system. I could see him being moved for an NHL or NHL ready forward.
