Not sure if Karlsson would waive for CHI or not. Probably not and would prefer immediately competitive options. PIT would not get a better offer at full cap hit though.

Hawks aren't touching that Karlsson contract and bertuzzi would be lucky to get 5 mil. No chance anyone gives him 8.

That EK65 trade is laughable. The only EK65 trade the Hawks make is straight up for Seth Jones. Otherwise, no thanks. And since that means Reichel and Raddysh are still Hawks, no need to sign Bertuzzi or hot dog Phil either.

Why on @Earth would CHI even want EK65's contract, let alone trade all those assets for him? Ludwinski is gonna be a stud fan favorite bottom 6 forward, Reichel is going to be fine, and those 2nd round picks will likely be studs as well. CHI shouldn't even think about a move like this unless we are being paid to take on the contract.
