Honestly, next year for Saros, you’re looking at Daws/Schmid, Holtz/Seamus and a conditional 1st-2nd round pick (depending on who you choose to give up) at max IMO.

This is a Habs fan writing this, don't blame the Pred fans out there.

They must have been tired of Josh Anderson for Nemec and a 1st deals.

Josh Anderson for Nemec and a 1st is still happening cool

I wasn't sure how much Saros costed honestly, but I think NJD could give him an extension of something like 7x7 and give up Daws + Holtz + 1st

This seems like alot even for a Nashville fan such as myself. Casey and a 1st (or equivalent value) should be adequate. Holtz isnt a need (we have tons of wing prospects) or Daws (we have Askarov). Not overly interested in Marino personally either as the defensive situation in Nashville is fairly crowded.

I could see Saros taking a discount to stay with NSH, but $7M feels like too much of a discount. He'd probably be looking for Hellebucyk money with a new team.

Holtz and Daws don't do much for NSH. Preds decline.
