Edmonton my guess is they are going to just buyout Campbell in the offseason. They have skinner as their starter and they will either resign pickard as the back up or find another veteran backup around 1.0-1.5 million.

I'd do Compher if you want, we'll just sign someone else and try again for a center, maybe Stephenson this time.

Unless we want to buyout jc, that trade isn’t great for us. Broberg isn’t gonna get the time he needs here either. And loosing Kuraly to swap isn’t ideal either.

Also selling laine that low would be a fireable offense by the next gm. Plus trading a pick for middle 6 center is a really bad idea. We have enough of those guys as is.

Yeah these are pretty bad moves for the jackets as others have stated.

They will hope laine can bounce back. Can’t see them trading laine until the deadline when his contract expires if at all unless some team wants to overpay for him (which a 4th half retained isn’t close to).

Jackets are better off keeping Elvis or trading him with 1-1.5 million in retention for an asset if they want to dump his contract that bad.

No reason to trade for a m6 forward they have enough especially for a 2nd. He doesn’t improve the team and takes away from the young guys ice time

I'd do Copp for free, we could spend that cap in so many better ways
