The Jiricek trade is also wishful thinking. CBj seems pretty unlikely to move him- he’d be great to get though

The Skinner trade doesn’t work for either side.
Any team out there will want the Sabres to retain, AND to at least give them a pick(s) to take him off our hands, and there’s just no way the Sabres even look to do anything like that
Skinner is here for at least another year, period.

Roslovic for $4mil + doesn’t make sense either
I’d rather give Krebs or Kulich a shot at 3C & just trade for someone if they aren’t ready for the role

If Buffalo wants to move his contract San Jose is a great spot for it. Tons of cap space and roster spots open.

It's all elementary bc Skinner isn't waiving to go to the west coast which is far from home...and by home I mean where he comes from and not Buffalo. That was a reason he signed here plus 9 mil other reasons.
