4 Possibly he is a legit top pair defence.
5 he might get 4 to 4.5 for 3 years as a bridge bt not sure.
6 you can just bury most of his contract in AHL cheaper.
7 I hope not because TML needs 1 way more then you do!

Calgary only considers trading that much for Chychrun if he comes with a nice long extension. Of course there'd be no retention in that case. Without the extension Calgary isn't interested in wasting valuable assets on a pending UFA who probably won't extend with them.
