Why are the blues giving up one of their most talented young players and a solid 6/7 d to take on a goalie when we already have a top 5 tandem in the nhl

Based on stats - they are a top 5 tandem. And goalies don’t score goals genius…they are both leaps and bounds better than Geogiev’s who just got yanked last night since you are basing this statement on yesterday…

swayman is a premium asset, you're not getting him without giving up a premium asset.

girard isn't one.
a late first isn't one.
that goalie sure as heck isn't one.

try again. you'll have to overpay.
