except for one big problem - i would expect the bruins to have no interest in trevor zegras, nor would they have interest in overpaying big for him.

pass on Zegras and pass on Bahl... not having enough ELC prospects is an issue and giving up essetnially a full line of ELC guys who could be in the top 9 of the roster seems like a bad idea. Zegras isn't Draisaitl...

Gladly give Bahl and 2nd with an add. I think Casey is Marinos replacement. Would have to be something else.

The Ducks trade makes no sense for Biston.

The Ullmark trade is more than NJ is going to pay for Linus.

We aren’t trading him for that package either

No interest in Bahl once we acquired Peeke.

My assumption is it’s Casey or a 2025 first round

Explain how this makes sense to either team, let alone both?

We need one more top 6 forward which Zegras fulfills. Anaheim needs depth scoring options because the players scoring on Anaheim right now are not the future (Vatrano, Strome, and Fowler are who I mean).

We also need top 6 forwards, of which Zegras is part of the plan for, and we have a wealth of middle 6 options in our prospect system, we don't need to go adding to a position of strength at the expense of a top 6 that we need.

This only makes sense if you think Anaheim doesn't have middle 6 scoring developing in our system, which is not the case.

Boston has cap room to spend and a limited amount of assets, why are they giving up assets / cap room for a player who doesn’t fit the system they generally prefer to play.

1. agree 100%
2. anaheim isn't getting better, in fact, they aren't getting anything close to that.

With Jesper Boqvist: 3rd in NHL
Without Jesper Boqvist: missing the playoffs

Coincidence, I think not
