I don't think that Josh Norris has anywhere close to that value. I don't think that Boston would trade Brandon Carlo for him even up.

Take out Carlo Boston still passes. That contract with that shoulder is no fly zone.

Even healthy with no concerns Boston does not do that.

Yeah, I think the only teams that would be interested on Norris would be CHI and SJS, as they have the cap space and their playoff window is still far away, but they wouldn't give any major assets either, I think a 2nd rounder is the max they would give. LA might also entertain Norris-Dubois 1-for-1.

Boston is a destination market In free agency and they have cap room. Don’t see why they would do a deal like this in general.

I dont hate the idea of a Chabot-Letang pair but the contract and injuries make it a gamble I would be hesitant to pay a premium for

Boston is def not a FA destination. 9% income tax? 6.25% Sales tax? 10% property tax?
Theres a reason they havn't signed a single big FA this decade
If you are making millions Boston is possibly the worst place you could go finacially speaking

The only years where they had cap space, they’ve signed players. We’ll find out this year, but lots of players live in Mass during the offseason.

There are a few tax benefit states in Texas, Florida, Nevada, and Tennessee. Most other states are fairly close. Also, it’s pretty easy to get in and out of Boston if you are an international.

If you can afford a significant home, the COLA is not drastic when you look at the individual stats. It’s about a 5% premium with a decent tax pro (if that).

Avs decline as they simply can't afford Giroux even he wanted to move and waived. That ship has sailed.
