I mean Hronek is a top pairing RD. Still not enough value but he is a very high tier asset

A top pair RHD isn’t a top tier asset?

Realistically the trade starts with Lekkerimaki

I hear you guys on Hronek but he can’t be the focal point of a deal for Brady especially when the rest of the package is Garland, who’s okay, and Klimovich who’s questionable at best along with a very late first that wouldn’t be seen for another calendar year.

How about both haha

The two of them would be a better package than the one here

Tom Willander and Lekkerimaki and we'll do it. Just those two and I'm willing to add to have them both. We don't want Hronek since If we trade Brady we're gonna be starting from scratch around Timmy + Sanderson which means Giroux, Chych, Chabby and Norris should be gone aswell.

Probably a good idea. Brady is leading your favorite team to a top pick.

Lets get real. Tkatchuk is a foundational piece in Ottawa and will not leave.

I don’t even rate either prospect that highly . Willander is def not a #1 or even top pair guy. Probably a 2nd pair and Lekkerimaki could be a 2nd line top PP guy.

A Brady trade has to bring back a future top line guy or top pair RD or future top pair RD or a pick high enough to draft one of those

If he brings back Nemec or a top 5-6 pick and more pieces than he could be traded otherwise no chance

I don’t think either is a future top pair or top line guy so no.

Wouldn’t even trade Batherson for either piece

Batherson wouldn’t even get the discussion started for either one

If the main piece coming back is a prospect there’s not very many in the league better than Lekkerimaki. Most better ones wouldn’t be available for trade anyways

I think you are selling Willamder short. He was the 2nd best Dman at the WJC, and might end up being the best of all the Sweden Dmen at the tournament.

Timmy, Willander, Lekkerimaki, Sanderson, Greig, Pinto is a damn good foundation to build upon imo.

Lekkerimaki also had a very good year in the SHL. Team MVP and led all U23 players in goals and points. 7th overall in the league in goals. And had a great World Juniors

It’s pretty unlikely the Canucks move one of Lekkerimaki or Willander. There’s practically zero chance the Canucks move both Lekkerimaki and Willander. It would have to be a deal for an absolute superstar with term. Brady is great but not good enough to get both

And Brady wouldn’t be available for trade. He’s very untouchable , if he’s available then an untouchable piece is being moved

100% agreed. That's why I would be willing to add to make it fair for both sides.

The only way I see a Tkachuk trade happening is if Nemec is included or a top 5-6 pick as the starting piece. Otherwise no chance
