Description
People were saying he’d never touch anything close to his production from the 2021-22 season. There were even people saying he wasn’t worth a 1st round pick.
Now he’s reached 100 points this season and has been a heart and hustle player.

Even if he was shooting his career average of 15% he’d have 92 points

I think the thought was he was going to get $9M+, getting him at $8M is good. And of course there will always be a concern about the last 3 years of that deal but for now he's worth the money for sure.

The narratives from the start of last year are pretty stupid right now

idk what kind of math youre doing but hed have 27 goals and 89 points. This also doesnt account for his other linemeates having insane shooting seasons like Boeser, Hoglander

Also his xGF/60 is very low (0.015) for someone with 97 points. Hes been like a lot of the Canucks, very lucky this season. He was much better in the 21-22 season in all aspects except defensively.

Only habs fans could discredit someone getting 100 points. If this was Slaf ur stance would be dramatically different

Can't lie to you I loved Miller as a Bolt but it seriously sucked to see him buried in the bottom six. Glad the trade worked out for both TB and Van in the long run, truly love seeing Miller thrive with the Canucks

Other fanbases will continue to make excuses on why he's successful instead of admitting they were wrong. That's fine with me though we will continue to have a top 10 center that's a fantastic power forward who is one of the best if not best at it. All of this coming at a steal of a deal. all miller has ever done in his career is prove people wrong.

Miller wasn't the Canuck most disparaged by outsiders -- Boeser was regarded as a cap dump.
