I think the implication is the other way around, they need to toss out some high skill guys to get another Tkachuk type guy.

Where do u see Tkachuk?

I said the same type of trade as Matt Tkachuk .

Who is the RFA that isn’t signing with current team?

Lundell+ or Swayman?

Maybe a multi year rental?

That's not exactly what he said though. He was pointing to Florida as an example. They were a talented team that couldn't take care of business away from the puck, and he highlighted the shift in mentality that came with that trade.

That said, I'm all for a flashy trade if it makes them better. Been clear for a while that this group isn't gonna figure it out internally

Konecny would be probably the guy that would land a similar deal. Problem is he’s a pending UFA and Philly won’t want the skilled guys in their prime but more high end prospects

I'll preface this by saying that I think any team they pays him out this summer will MASSIVELY regret it, but that guy is Sam Reinhart. I don't know how you justify paying him like a 50 goal scorer when he's scoring on 1 in 4 shots this season, but that's the two way beast being talked about. And he's coming straight from the team Ottawa wants to build themselves like.

moving Batherson for Keller is at best a lateral move and Keller costs more in cap easy no for OTT and FLA will never trade verhaege to OTT
