Dvorak has 1 year left, this is stupid and you know it. There isn't anything offered here that would remotely come close to getting you Dach. If we can't get a return at 50% then we ride out his contract. Give your damn head a shake.

Dvorak has value, is a FA at the end of next season and has a low buyout

Ya I get it but your idea sucks man.
Getting rid of a future important piece of your franchise to get rid of the Dvo contract makes no sense.

Teams only pay to dump contracts with one year left if they’re in a cap crunch which the Habs are not and then on top of that you’ve got MTL using their last retention spot on said contract…not to mention for some reason you have them giving up the most valuable piece in Kirby Dach.

the habs are literally taking back a worse contract in Mikheyev, being asked to retain on Dvorak, give up dach, all to obtain the Russian tanner Pearson in podkolzin lmao. one of the worst proposals ive seen on here

Look what Wennberg was traded for before calling Dvo a capdump.

Also, MTL has more than enough capspace, so motivation to shred salary is none.

The Habs can easily afford to keep Dvorak’s contract. No chance we’re giving up an asset like Dach in a move like this. Thanks but no thanks.
