Man Leafs Nation is nuts…

Samsonov has been great since he came back from his reset, then he has 2 bad statistical games where the games don’t matter and people turn on him again. 🤦🏻‍♂️

He hasn’t been great, but it’s been 2 games where the team hasn’t been great in front of him because the games don’t mean anything. There’s been no effort defensively.

This is why guys don’t wanna sign there. Relax.

To truly be a contender you need at to be elite in at least 2/3 of these categories and Serviceable in the 3rd:
Offense
Defense
Goaltending

If you have all 3 (like Tampa did a few years ago) you are almost guaranteed to win the cup.

Toronto has elite offense, but neither their goaltending or defense is elite.
