Utah might honestly be really good

Description
An example of a high-spending Utah team. I probably got the value wrong for the trades, but my point is that this team is well and truly set up to succeed in Salt Lake City. It's a real shame that the Tempe deal didn't work out.

I wouldn't slap those big contract to start the franchise on Guentzel and Pesce. Wrong players for being face of franchise.

From the Blues perspectieve, these are not really the pieces we're looking for, but the value is absolutely there, so I'd gladly accept.

Pretty big upgrade, Less dying of heat stroke or going broke keeping Air Conditioners going 24/7
Utah is Beautiful and TBL has less cap to sign like 9 players then it would take to sign Stamkos alone.
Either they got to let Stamkos go or move Cirellii or Cernak to even get close without losing an Opening Line up of TBL Top 5 players including D and Forward
IF Utah wanted to they have the cap to give Stamkos and Reinhart a lot with Term and be better for it without spending any prospects or draft capital

With a meh defense, mid goalie, and league worst center group? You sure?

See Columbus if you think a team of wingers can be successful in the league

I hope they win the cup within 5 years and Muruello and Xavier Gutierrez never make it back to the NHL.
They knew they would never get the arena done, if they actually do sell for 1.1B WITHOUT AN ARENA I will never go to a game again and I will watch games using torents until the ridiculous valuations come down

I am self-aware enough to be well and truly concerned for the state and future of any NHL franchise whose moves I accurately predicted.

The value is there, but it's everything we don't want. If some team needs five pieces in an unretained Buch offer, it's an instant no. A gaggle of deferred 2nds and two wingers isn't going to be considered unless the winger if Konecny or something.

Army would immediately say one word: "Simashev".

The Weber deal has value to a rebuilding club trying to reach the cap floor! Being almost 7 mil hit but only costing 1 mil could save a team millions that’s just trying to hit the cap floor. I think a 5th going back to The Salt Lake Serpents and no picks to the sharks is reasonable. And I’m a sharks fan.

Yeah, and BA will hang up the phone immediatly. wink

No, I understand that we'd rather get a 24 first and / or a really good defensive prospect, however, if there isn't a deal to be made with any team that is able to offer such a package, I'd gladly accept this one if offered. See (some of) the assets involved as trade chips that we can package and flip for a desirable prospect/young player/higher pick.

He may well do so, but in division that would be the appropriate ask.

Spreading out mid value among the four extra pieces after But should not fly. Three pieces tops, one or two is better. We already have extra 2nds. If nobody makes a suitable offer, he simply stays. This is not a best offer takes it regardless situation.

If Buch doesn't want to extend, and there are no better offers, I'd rather accept an offer like this then having Buch walk at the end of next season. But then again, I might be a lot higher on But than others.

Who ever said Buch doesn't want to extend?

Either way, Arizona can do better.
