Can't see Pat Verbeek doing that and if he had an inkling, I think that both Fowler and Gibson would refuse to waive their NTCs. But the Keller package might get him to ask them.

I dunno man Salt Lake City is pretty Sweet Actually
Given how VGK competed right out the gate
Pro's arent as afraid to join those types of teams

Target Family Men as Utah is Safe, Educated and isnt Crime Riddled as a top 5 Safest Ranked States in the USA.
They arent a Sanctuary State but they also lean Center instead of Right Wing which means they welcome those who contribute and want to be there.
Those who dont go to other states

If im in California on a rebuild team raising a Family i beg ANA to get this done knowing that long term they're not in ANA plans and this would be the best situation they'd get offered for years if ever. Some people are mad about Utah over others like Houston or Quebec who's Ownership Groups switched gears and bought OTT and CAR respectively . Utah hadnt sold out its ownership group like the first 2 patiently waiting for ARZ to fail again and the NHL to approve Relocation. I remember at first going "who wants to live in a Mormon state, i bet its dumb". Then i started hearing more about it in the Seattle Expansion era when they were bidding on that teams spot. I realized its just Religious in General but not to a Right or Left Wing Degree. That because their Profits Story is so hilariously childish that they avoid Judging others religious beliefs. Instead the focus on peoples actions.

Wont lie 10 years ago if you asked if i'd live in Utah i'd say you couldnt pay me enough.
Now though its looking like the most appealing or one of
Now if Fowler or Gibson thought they could retire in ANA or Re-sign with Term im sure they stay put
Seeing how Montour , Lindholm and Manson among others have all done since leaving
I think Fowler could could do Produce as Many Quality Defensmen for Salt Lake City as he has for ANA over the years.
Really he's the only one who's helped produce more NHL Top 4 Dmen 2000-now

Gibson has helped Create a few solid Goalies himself and Hrabal is 6'7 Czech Goalie started 75% of his teams starts this year as a Rookie with really good results.
His Transition to the North American style has been seamless to many including my surprise. He'll likely spend another year in NCAA or AHL while ARZ NHL team relocates.
If Friedmans right ARZ owners could be retaining the AHL club and signing an affiliation deal with SLC until they get their own in place

If im Fowler and Gibson knowing im going to a good situation i do my best to help them acquire Keller on the way out.

Rakell is a solid player at times and could use a new location for him and a NHL team

Gibson has NEVER been in trade talks; that's just wishful thinking on the part of certain pseudo-pundits and CapFriendly users.

Sheesh if you feel like giving away Crouse for a bad contract, the Blues would LOVE a word.

The Wings don't need a 3rd/4th line centre.

They already have Larkin, Compher, Veleno. They also have 2 guys that can play centre: Copp and Rasmussen having done it in the NHL before. In addition, their 2022 1st round pick (#8 overall) who turned 20 a few days ago now has a full AHL season under his belt. He will be in the 1st of his 3 ELC years that will be necessary to balance the coming cap crunch (from having to re-sign Seider, Raymond, and Kane).

I don't see them making the trade for a 3rd/4th line centre when they will be seeking to control costs to get guys re-signed.

laugh Clayton Keller gets a far better off than that, And I seriously doubt he'd even accept a trade to Vancouver. He'd be more likely heading home to Saint Louis.

laugh And zero chance of John Gibson and Cam Fowler remotely waiving for Salt Lake City. Cam Fowler could come home to Detroit and Jogn Gibson would likely waive for Detroit as well before waiving for Salt Lake City.
