I honestly think there are teams that would be willing to take Fabbri at full or near full salary, without compensation... Vegas is not one of them.

Also, hard pass on trading a 1st for a 30 year old goalie that hasn't seen .905+ since 2018-2019.

As much as I love John Gibson, I don't think that Steve Yzerman is willing to pay that kind of haul for him and we don't need left-handed defensemen in any event. Gibson without retention for Tuomisto, Husso and your 2025 second is about the best we can hope for, and you'll have to forego renting Yanni Gourde just to play #4C. And then you can run a proper 23-man roster.

More likely we just buy him out.

Trading him is honestly less of a fantasy than ASP stepping in the NHL on Day 1 next season. He's probably set to spend the better part of the next two years in GR/Sweden.

I also like how you set the cap to a whopping $6M+ over where the NHL has already said it will be...

Guess we're just living in fantasyland. Hell, why not make it $100M and just buy those guys out?!

Marchessault will get more on the open market, at around the 7mil range. The only reason he would likely be willing to sign that deal is if he is really wanting to stay with Vegas, and is willing to take a discount.

Also, attach a 1st to Chiarot and maybe the Canes consider taking him on.

Why are we trading Hague to take on 5 million in cap if we aren’t bringing back Marshy(which we easily do at that cap number without moving Hague lol)
