I think Chicago would consider that proposal.

They would more than consider it. It's a no-brainer. Take the pick and buy him out if you don't want him.

... Which is why Detroit would never give a 2nd for that lol.

Let's trade picks and prospects to get rid of cap dumps!

Seems like the Yzerman Way. 🤔

Patrick Kane will be signed for 2-3 years at around $5,500,000 to $6,000,000 per

Matt Roy will get at least 5 x $5,500,000 to 5 x $6,000,000 3 x $4,000,000 isn't happening.

Justin Holl is a cheap buyout, We're not giving up picks to move his contract.

Zero interest in Nikolaj Ehlers, He's probably going to command 8 x $8,000,000 on his next contract.

Sorry we're not giving up assets for Andrew Copp, And no reason to leave his family in Michigan for the likes of Seattle. Shai Buium and a 2nd round pick are bad asset management.

Why would we have any interest in UPL? When we've Cossa and Augustine up in the next 1-3 years. Zero interest in UPL who hasn't been that great.

What’s in this for Buffalo exactly? A more expensive older goalie for 1 year vs 3 years of a guy they put 8 years into developing all for a guy who’d barely be in their top 10 of forward prospects, and that’s being generous

I mean, it’s fine to point to your young guys and say no because of those, but UPL has been great this year.

I like Wallinder, but the Jets don't really need an LHD if they are moving Ehlers

For me it's not really about UPL.

Ned and Husso were both good before they came here. Both sucked when they got here. Ned is good again now that he's gone.

Some fans don't seem to get the obvious problem there... It's not the goalies.

Again that’s fine, but context should be applied. Buffalo = train wreck yet UPL performed well. Husso from STL (prior to this year) and Ned from Car coming from solid organizations that were defensively sound probably inflated their numbers. I would think that Stevie would jump at the proposal if Adams offered it to him.
