I see the fact that Chicago wanted to be competitive for like the next season, but that's WAY, bu WAY too early for them.........

They will gonna need more young quality in their Dcore and a legit goalie.

6.5 is a lot for Vlasic. I love him, but don't do that. Stick to like 3 years, 4 mil per

I didn't see the word for word interview, but I'm pretty sure he said the weren't likely going to target the big fish. They do 100% want to get better AND they can't be taking on too many cap dumps for too long, BUT getting a veteran from another team like Anders Lee or a JPG could be a good longer term move. We have 2 years worth of cap space to play with, but that 3rd year is a killer.

Not a bad effort. The D group and goaltending is spot on. Chatfield probably gets a little more $ per and gets 2 or 3 years, but he's the right type of player. Can't see Stammer signing w/ the Hawks, especially for one year. I'm going to be surprised if he leaves Tampa. PK88 coming back would be awesome, but seems unlikely as well. But I do expect the Hawks to be aggressive in free agency and sign at least two top 6 level forwards. As for that trade, Hawks perspective just keep Reichel. Can't see why Hawks make that deal

Ya, I was thinking somewhere between 5.5-6.5. He'd only be 30 at the end of an 8 yr deal so a bridge might be a good idea to look toward a longer term deal to 32-33 in the future.

For sure. Stammer probably unlikely but definitely looking to add to the top 6 but only short term. The potential free agency class next year makes sense to keep money for.

I wasn't sure about how the org felt about Reichel's development. Edmonton gets a cheaper forward and Bourgault a much better opportunity.

Pretty sure the org is still high on Reichel. He was SO MUCH better after the TDL following his 8 game reset in the AHL. His early season struggles were a result of some "tough love" by the coaching staff trying to make Reichel a more complete player. But next season might be Reichel's make or break season.

I accept on Edmonton's behalf. I've always like Reichel and the German connection with Draisaitl is obvious.

Wasn't Raddysh waived earlier this year? Feels like a bit of a heavy return for him.
