Well first off I doubt Drury and Gorton will ever trade with each other, and second this move doesn't really make any sense for the Rangers as Chytil is almost set to return for the playoffs and Dvorak has been a disaster with MTL

True on part 1, but for part 2, this helps NYR save $ and go after a top six right shot RW

This Necas contract is brutal. He doesn’t deserve anything near that amount. Last year was a anomaly, Necas is a 50-55 point winger who can’t play a 200 feet game. Habs ain’t trading any assets for a guy’s without caracter and completely disappear in the playoffs

His 200-foot game is getting better and he's been at 25 goals or more the last couple of seasons and probably gonna be better in a different system, and his playoffs disappearance is a bit of an overstatement sure there is a bit of an dip in production but it isn't that bad

Chytil is a younger, less productive, more expensive and more injured Dvorak, why would Montreal ever consider this? Then you want us to retain on Dvo and pay a 1st+ on top of that? What kind of moron do you think Hughes is?!

My point is more about that 7 millions contract. He definitely doesn’t deserve that much. Necas is a fine player but not a game changer.

Isles don't need Matheson. We honestly don't really need a defenseman. We need our defense to play better and we need wings.

They don't need another injury prone center..Kirby Dach is on their roster already

I always laugh when ppl put these crazy trades out there while forgetting that Kent Hughes is the GM. This isnt Jim Benning. Kent has to be one of the most measured guys in the league. He's not even Bergevin with MB's giant ego being a journeyman hockey player that hated skill guys when he threw the alumni out of the dressing rooms and would play favourites with Gallagher meanwhile dumping on Pacioretty/Markov.

Yah the $7m contract is ridiculous... I'd never give him that
