I don't think we see any of those 5 players playing in the NHL next year. It will take time for the trial to happen. If he is proven innocent, then I hope he gets another shot at some point. Time will tell how things go! But I expect Hart will not be available next year.

There’s also a reason why Alex Formenton - who was connected to the story from the start - has been out of the league for years. Teams don’t like taking on players that carry that kind of baggage of the ice. It puts a bad look on the organization and I can almost guarantee Toronto is not going to sign any of those players connected to the incident.

For the players sake? Nope, I am hoping for the victims sake that those pieces of trash are locked up for a long time. Their careers are over and anyone who feels for the players should be as ashamed as they should be.

First off there’s no chance the Flyers just give him away. The NHL 100% has a process where the teams won’t have to tender their players and they will just remain non-rostered.

Second off he won’t even be eligible to play until after the trial which probably won’t be until 2026.

I'd be more ashamed if the judicial system isn't played out. Gee, just this week a man was acquitted for killing a police officer with is car. Apparently the other two cops lied in their report. So, if being charged is the same as guilty, we are going down the wrong path, and anyone who thinks charged is being the same as guilty should be ashamed of themselves.
