very intriguing for the habs, I don't see a reason not to do it, unless management really like Tuch

From CBJ - hell no on Voronkov. we have a plethora of smallish wingers and centers. He is one of the few on this team that is large 6'4 230lbs. that also plays center/wing, skates well, has good hands, defensively responsible and has a bite to his game. Ohh yea his hockey sense is very good not elite but close

Voronkov isnt available, especially for that package. I would be down for just a trade around Elvis for VV though.

This trade would be enough to get the headline "MTL fiercely violates SJ"

There is nothing of close to interest in that Habs trade for San Jose

3 prospects that will only play in the AHL and a 4th rd pick for 2 NHL players and a possible NHL prospect. I know that Anderson had a horrible season last year and carries $5M in Cap. I would do the trade if you remove Tuch and the 4th rd pick

I'd do the trade just by removing Tuch, and all the players and pick from SJ... If they want Anderson with his contract, they are welcome to it and Pezz for future considerations, which would be to pay for a pair of socks at some point for someone, anywhere in the world.. Just one pair of regular, socks.

Issue is SJ already has nearly 6mil in retention, add another 5.5mil dead cap. Also, the Vlasic 7mil. I can't see the owner approving this trade.

PSA: if you think you have a great idea for getting some nice asset from Columbus by bundling said asset alongside Elvis, just quit while you're ahead and don't bother posting it; the answer's going to be no every single time. We're not that desperate and have much better options.
