So Flyers trade TK for a cap dump goalie, meh at best prospect, a bottom 6er (we have plenty of them), a 2nd in two drafts (where we already have 3), and a 1st three years away?

Yeah Briere wouldn’t be able to decline that fast enough. The Flyers need quality not quantity. The only reason to trade TK would be for big picks. TK would start with Ottawa’s 2024 1st and there is no reason Ottawa should trade that for TK even if he comes with an extension so there’s no shot TK gets traded to Ottawa.

Florida, Philly, and SJS decline. CBJ probs declines because theyre not in the competing phase to trade a young player for an established one but the value favours them heavily.

Does San Jose Decline? We all regret losing Norris, and would welcome him back and while I love Ferraro I can see us moving on from him in the next few years.

Honestly if this is the offer I think Sharks accept.

Although it doesn't make any sense for Ottawa, paying Boston's 1st to dump Korpisalo is fair IMO.

So, it comes down to whether Ferraro + Blackwood is worth giving up for Norris + two 3rds.

Frankly, it doesn't make for either team, given that Ottawa has too many LDs and Norris has a growing list of injuries.

I think there is an argument to be made that Norris is cooked.

I think at his age it’s way too early to determine that! Give him extra time to recover and work with a strengthening his shoulders

Personally, I would rather have the cheap, giant power center with surprisingly soft hands than the expensive, fragile defenseman who’s bad at defense. But I guess everyone else thinks this is a no-brainer for Columbus to accept.

Less than zero interest in Chabot at this juncture given his contract and given the guys already here, and Voronkov has been amazing for us. The number of people thinking this is a CBJ fleecing and/or a no-brainer just pretty heavily demonstrates how little folks actually pay attention to the Blue Jackets.

I'd rather buy out Korpisalo than pay to dump him.

Facts, I love Voronkov but Chabot is still worth this deal.

Maybe to a team that doesn’t already have Werenski. Chabot makes an awful lot of money to be 2LD.
