Why is Calgary paying for the more expensive player who had a worse season? Would rather keep Sharang and I've never been that high on Cirelli

Is he good defensively? yeah. But he literally spends most of each season playing with Stamkos. He only outputs around 40 points a season.

He's a glorified 3rd liner. I don't want to pay him over 6m

Hawks aren't paying anything for two fourth liners......They might take Sheary and Jeannot if they are "gifted" to the Hawks. Wow, you really that Circelli is worth anything like that?

He is. One of the best wrist shots in league. Solid defender.
