Hawks aren't paying a 2nd for Robertson I don't think, but given that it's a late 2nd, maybe I'm wrong

I think they do late 2nd. They have a lot of picks, need to turn some of them into young players with potential

Why would the leafs retain on JT, they would have to replace his production with someone making 5.5M. Why are people low balling Domi, he should be getting 4.5M minimum.

Domi has made it clear he wants to be in Toronto and he wants term I think he would take a lower number than 4.5M to stay maybe it's a little higher then I have him. With regards to JT the leafs just need change. They can afford to retain salary on him for 1 year and I think they can replace his production pretty easily.

He had an off year and still had 65points, that's not an easy replacement. After his bonuses kick in he is only owed around 900k before next season starts. It doesn't matter, l can't see him waiving from his hometown, he most likely plays out next season and makes his own decision for him and his family.

I agree. No real incentive for him to accept a trade unless that team is willing to give him an extension. Doubt the Leafs sign him back so maybe he would like to sign somewhere this summer

I’d prefer Chicago draft a young player with potential with that pick, someone who will be six years younger when the selection is made with more size and less injury history.

Hawks aren't giving up a 2nd for Robertson. He's not a player the Hawks likely have much interest in. Hawks have several small, fast, skilled forwards in the system already with higher potential than Robertson. Hawks need to add some size, not another elf.

Continue on then. Buffalo has been a juggernaut with Tuch these past few years

Obviously because they have been so successful Tuch is untouchable. Buffalo fans are the same as their management and ownership. Clueless

Tuch is untouchable and they dont need another 11 mill+ contract, same reason why Toronto has been so successful. Toronto fans are the same as their management and ownership. Clueless

That's just it. They don't. They need to add some skilled forwards w/ size and some RD help. Robertson might get ice time this season and next, but once Nazar, Moore and Kantserov are here, he's out of the lineup. Spending a 2nd on a player who doesn't figure in the Hawks long term plan makes no sense. Unless he has a growth spurt and gets to be Jason's size!
