Järnkrok is not a bad contract he's actually on a really good one. $2M for a 3rd liner that gets 15-20 goals and can play any position up and down the line up?

Only reason AGMs trade him is it makes the fantasy lineup look better if they can plug in another player for $1M

What's you position within the Hawks? Until Kyle Davidson lets us know we will keep sending him back to the Hawks

If a player has trade protection (like Järnkrok) it is usually a safe assumption that Winnipeg is on his "no" list. Just the reality of the situation. If it is a TDL situation with an expiring contract there is a chance they waive, but if there is term the player usually says no.

Won't debate Jarnkrok's value with you, he's simply not a fit in WPG. Plenty of depth at forward, with players similar or better of his ilk already, as well as kids in the system that might get a look. (though knowing Chevy, not likely!) Arguably the only piece of business WPG needs to concern themselves with at forward is re-signing Monahan and/or deciding to replace him internally or externally.

If he's got a good contract the Leafs can hold onto him. But when you look at it, the same reason you want to get rid of him is the same reason Winnipeg doesn't want him. You can find a player that provides what Jarnkrok does at $1.0 or less.

It's not that the Leaf's want to get rid of him its the AGM maker thinks some kid can provide the same for $1M that is not realistic over an 82 game season + playoffs for the most part.

I'm fine with TOR fans sending him to CHI, just pay for it, is all we are saying. I don't think CHI is a realistic option for TOR receiving positive value in a Kampf trade.
