If V1 is going to be over/locked should be really go ahead with FA round 2?

It does see somewhat pointless, but it's all trial and error. We need to try stuff out now so v2 can be without the confusion v1 has experienced.

I have already had GMs basically tell me they aren't making trades because V2 is going to start.

Yea, personally I've lost all interest in this game. I'll listen to offers, but v1 has been unusually quiet lately.

I would rather not just close down v1 until we have even experienced v2. If v1 organically dies out, fine. Don't force it until we have even started v2.

As for v1 ending, we never planned for it to end. I think enough people want it to continue.
I had personally intended to switch from "trade mode" to "evaluation mode", once rosters have been set for the season.

If enough GM's are willing, v1 can continue. Personally, I will likely be resigning from Montreal once v2 comes along.

I think anyone who takes a team in V2 should have to give up their GM spot in V1. Better yet V1 should be blown up because it is so unbalanced and another version added for new people to play. This can be a feeder to V2 or a stand alone separate game all together.

GMs giving up teams in v1 should only occur in the event that we have 28 other AGMs in v2 to fill their roles in the "feeder".

v1 shouldn't just be blown up because its unbalanced. v1 should remain as is until it naturally fizzes out. v2 is going to be the new game, but there isn't any issue with having v1 linger around.

If you mean hitting the reset button on V1 rosters I'd be ok with that actually... at least that's the way I'm interpreting you saying V1 is unbalanced

what are we going to do? just reset every year? We just got done FA and such and now we are just going to scrap all that because its "unbalanced"? This method won't prevent it being unbalanced again, so it seems like we are just making lateral decisions.

Just as a heads up... I probably won't be able to balance V1, V2, School and other priorities so I'll more than likely drop from V1 come Sept 15th... so if an AGM wants to take over for me I can bring everything up to my roster and they can copy from there

Jabroni, you just have to be on the opposite sides of me on everything don't you. V1 is ridiculously unbalanced and should be reset. V1 should be opened up to new blood. Having open spots is much more of an incentive than becoming an AGM.
