The something big I had in mind involves both Roman Josi and Erik Karlsson. Josi's exceptional contract value makes him more valuable in trades, but there are still a lot of moving parts in this deal.

            Nashville Predators
            Erik Karlsson
            Mark Stone

            Ottawa Senators
            Roman Josi
            Kyle Palmieri
2018 1st round pick (your choice)
            More pieces

As a structure, what do you think? Karlsson is due for a raise in two years, and Stone is this year. Your salary structure could get thrown off with those two raises, especially if you plan on bringing in a true #1 center. This way you still have exceptional players, another first round pick, and more cap flexibility to bring in a #1 center. Whatcha think?

When you said huge i didn't know you meant Karlsson.
Pretty much any move involving Karlsson is a no from me.

Fair enough. How about something involving just Palmieri and Stone?

i'm not moving Stone unless i get a huge overpayment. I really need right wing. Now i know Palmieri is a RW but a) he's not as good as Stone IMO, and b) even if he was i'm not making deals just to make deals, they have to make sense for the team.

he's like a faster Mcdavid...whats the ask on Fomenton? He was a 2nd last year, is that what you're looking for in return?

He's a decent prospect that really played well in junior but Fasching is the better player IMO

unless i get a ridiculously good offer, i'm not making any major deals right now, mainly i'm just trying to move out Claesson or maybe Formenton.

sounds a bit ridiculous, just because he had a good camp he's worth almost double what he was in June? I could give you Gustav Lindstrom. he's a right D. picked 9 spots ahead of Formenton at the draft.... I just need forward prospects more than D[/quote]

Probably a good 3rd liner, in the last 2 games for the Amerks he has had the game winning shootout goal both times, but Fasching could be a 2nd line scoring power forward.

alright then, you're not getting Chabot unless you give me a lot more ... i'd much rather add to Chabot for a bigger piece.

Aha. So if you're cool with 2020 picks, can I do this?

            Minnesota Wild
            Freddie Claesson

            Ottawa Senators
            Kyle Quincey
            2020 2nd round pick (MIN)

Also, note that Quincey is doing quite well this year, while Claesson is doing quite poorly.

I am not wanting other d-men in return for Claesson, i'm wanting more picks. If you're willing to give up 2 2nds, then you're probably gonna get Claesson, unless someone else makes a better offer.

With hopefully my last comment on this site, I would like to thank you for having this idea for a game. I'm sorry that this game has turned into a drama filled shitshow. I want to apologize to you in advance if this game dies... Which it's looking like it might. It was a good idea, brought together a lot of hockey fans. I wish the game could have turned out better for the sake of everyone involved.
