Anyway, i didn't really like a lot of the deals you wanted anyway. I had to discuss this with Juice when he was my AGM. Anyway, i'm just saying that i wasn't playing the waiting game, i didn't like the deal much anyway. And i can't just make a decision right away on a deal this big.

Cost for Brown? Btw in the GM game sim you are considered a contender so I could part with a more NHL ready prospect.

i don't see the Sens as a contender for this year. Brown is more likely moved as part of a deal for a top pairing LHD ... the only reason i'd move him otherwise is if i got a big overpayment.

It doesn't matter if you see then as a contender or not. Look at the other teams in the league and you are definitely a top 15 team

If you still have interest in Ekholm, I would do it for Chabot and Batherson. No need to add picks or other prospects.

This is a better offer for you than what we previously talked about, back when Jmac was your assistant. Gives you that top pairing LHD you want, you don't have to do any salary juggling, and you only give up one of your "big three" prospects (Chabot, Brown, White), which is what you wanted.

Based off of what you've said you want, this is the perfect deal to get you that 1LD, especially since Ekholm and Karlsson is a dream match to play together.

Baterson is arguably your top 2 prospect with Chabot... If you trade him for Ekholm lmfao... Ekholm isnt a top pairing LH d he is best on the second pairing.

ok, thanks. I don't know much about Batherson. Normally i ignore posts that have nothing to do with the person posting them but i don't know too much about the prospects, i don't watch AHL and junior much.

Playing well in the AHL right now, was a standout at the World Juniors a year or two ago. Potential to be a 2C at best, but most likely a solid 3C
