I could potentially be interested in Hornqvist, but not for a 1st +. That's waaaay too much for a rental, second line winger.

haha youre joking right? considering hanzel went for more than that at deadline and hornqvist is much better... thats the going rate for a very good top 6 rental

Shattenkirk went for a first, a prospect and a conditional second, so no I'm not joking. Wingers are available in excess, centers and defensemen are much more valuable. And Neal is much better than Hornqvist, but you got him for a cap dump and a second.

I’ll give you examples of players similar or worst than hornqvist going for a similar or higher return

Jannick Hanson for F Nikolay Goldobin, conditional fourth-round pick in 2017 Draft: Hansen does have an extra year but he’s no where close to hornqvist and goldobin was a first round pick

Alex Burrows for johnathan dalen. Once again maybe not a first round pick but dalen is a great prospect and Burrows is not nearly as good as hornqvist

          Bryan Boyle for a 2Nd round pick+
Boyle not nearly as good as hornqvist and still netted a 2nd. He’s a 4th liner....

Boedker for Connor bleackly (1st round pick) Kyle wood (3rd round pick) and tanguay. I know ur gonna say bleackley is a bust which he is but at the time (2016 deadline) he was only 2 years removed from his draft day so he wasn’t a bust yet

Laad for Dano AND a first and a conditional 3rd. You can argue Laad is better than hornqvist at the time of this trade but look at how massive that return is.

I only did 2016/17 deadline deals and I may be forgetting some but those are the ones off the top of my head that I can compare to a hornqvist trade. IF Pittsburgh were to somehow be out of a playoff spot and wanted to move horny, they could definitely get a first out of him IMO. He’s a consistent 50+ points, 20+ goals and brings so much physicality, energy, and net presence. Teams would pay for that

Definitely not. Brouwer has negative value to me.

Cause I’ve been busy with exams lmao. I do have a life outside of this game you know. Plus I wanna wait closer to deadline. I want my team to be as stacked as possible before TDL

He’s really struggling so far and I have limited cap so probably not

I have a trade offer which may provide you with some needed cap relief...

James Neal for Nic Petan and Andrew Copp.
