About the numbers, they're more possible than you might think ... they have the extra point for OT/SO losses you know.

Except I basically say the antithesis of that, but they are the best indication of possession, if you use CORSI, for example.

Like it or not, sports are going to continue to trend towards advanced analytics, which will just become "regular stats", in short order. Thats the way the market is trending, and it will continue to trend that way, until they are either disproven to be effective, or a further advanced metric comes about.
