Bring Lord Stanley to Philly contending team
Why does everyone want to get rid of Voracek? I know that he's overpaid, but he's on pace for 67 points this year and he's plays a huge leadership role in the locker room. It doesn't make sense to me to lose him if you're not getting an upgrade in return.
Also, Kings say no and I don't want to pay that to Toffoli since he'll be on the third line.

No, he's underrated here on CapFriendly. All GMs know how good he is and regardless is he's underrated or not, he's not signing to that. The cap will go up two years from now. Pageau signed that after having only one good year and Danault is coming off of two good years. He's also way better according to advanced stats so I'm not really sure what you're on about :tearsofjoy

LEAFS ROSTER WITHOUT MARNER
Tbh I don't think Marner's contract is as bad as people say it is. Yeah, I know, $11M is a lot for someone who hasn't hit 30 goals yet. But this guy turns only 23 in May, he's led the team in points the previous two years, great leader, good two-way guy and plays on the penalty kill. The $11M will look better as the cap goes up and as he continues to develop. As of right now I think $9-10M is a good estimate of where his value is right now, at least on the Maple Leafs. I'm not a fan of his play or contract right now, but it's not the end of the world.

Buyout Candidate from Each Team
I think DeKeyser is still productive in Detroit. Abdelkader should be the better option.
Also, is Jeff Skinner not allowed to be bought out? Him and Okposo have similar production and Skinner is on a worse contract.

Is Buffalo not able to buy out Jeff Skinner? Him and Okposo have similar production and Jeff Skinner even plays on a better line. I'd rather lose someone making 9M for seven years instead of someone making 6M for three years because Skinner is just going to age poorly.

Getzlaf Konecny
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Vanderm</b></div><div>I know it looks lateral today. As a long-term Gaudreau fan who loved him in college before he made it to the show, I'd bet this guy would find that 90-100 point level again with a change of scenery, especially to his homeland. And joining a locker room (and probably a line) with his best friend Kevin Hayes. Plus, PHI's jersey sales for Gaudreau would smash Konecny jersey sales.
I could see PHI doing a TK for JG trade straight up, but I don't think CGY would be able to justify it without getting something back. That's how I built the trade: TK plus 3rd rounder for Gaudreau, plus PHI gets back a tough, playoff-ready middle 6 player in Bennett for Frost.</div></div>
I doubt he's going to be a 90-100 point level again because it's unlikely that everybody on his team has a career year again. Not to mention he will be in a decline since he's turning 27 this summer.
A TK for JG trade straight up? For what, just to downgrade for the playoffs? Konecny already has a slightly greater upside than Gaudreau, so no thanks. Throwing in Bennett to try to get Frost is hilarious. Bennett is worth a second round pick at most. You sure aren't getting a B+ prospect for him. We don't even need Bennett, and Frost is probably already better than him.

Myers to Leafs revisited
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sign_em_up000000</b></div><div>What would it take in your opinion for the Leafs to get him?</div></div>
They can't. Myers is a big part of our future and we need him. We won't just trade him for a change up. For us to actually trade him we will need a defenseman that's close to his age, NHL-ready, is right-handed, and is just better in general. Leafs don't have that.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sign_em_up000000</b></div><div>You're right he's a 7-8 D right now and for some reason, he hasn't gotten the chance in the city of brotherly love but I think this kids still got alot of potential. Fitting Marner Palhal
What's with all these Marner for Konecny trades? It's completely unnecessary for us and we prefer Konecny over Marner by far.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MG1986</b></div><div>I do think the Flyers and Leafs match up well for a draft day deal. I really believe the Leafs would like to get back into the first round of the draft, and they have some wingers to unload for some much needed defensive help. There are clearly some numbers that would have to be worked out here, and a cap that requires determining, but my thought on a deal with the Leafs and Flyers would be:
To Toronto: Scott Laughton, Travis Sanheim, Phillipe Myers and a 1st
To Philly: William Nylander, Kasperi Kapanen, Travis Dermott and a mid-level prospect, like SDA.
Thoughts?</div></div>
We don't need Nylander, Kapanen, or Dermott. Sanheim and Myers are key pieces for us. No thanks.

Maybe if Ghost starts to dip again. I know that putting him on the second line can be risky, these pairings looked pretty good last game. I'm not sure how well an offensive defenseman will work with a defensive defenseman. Ghost was on the same pairing with Braun earlier this season and it didn't work well.

Myers to Leafs revisited
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Trickster</b></div><div>If Flyers were moving Sanheim.
What's his value? And what are Flyers needs?</div></div>
If we're assuming the Flyers do want to trade him, then I think a good comparison trade will be the Montour trade. Anaheim received Brendan Guhle, who was projected to be a top-4 defenseman at the time, and a late first round pick. Both Sanheim and Montour are both young, are on similar bridge contracts, and have similar point production. It can be kind of debatable for what the Flyers needs are. In my opinion, we could use some right-handed defenseman prospects and a few picks. I don't think the conversation starts without including Liljegren. You can include him and a late first round pick or some early second and third round picks. Even though I'm really not willing to move Sanheim, I'll give you my own trade proposal idea for what I want out of him.
<strong>Toronto Receives:</strong>
Travis Sanheim
<strong>Philly Receives:</strong>
Timothy Liljegren
2021 1st round pick (can be a late pick)
2021 2nd round pick (can also be a late pick, or early third)
<strong>EDIT:</strong> Just had the idea of Travis Dermott. I'm not sure how good he is, but maybe you can add him and then mess around with the picks. If we're losing a left-handed defenseman, then it will be ideal to get one back to take the place of Sanheim temporarily.

Myers to Leafs revisited
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Trickster</b></div><div>I I think if Myers is ready to 2nd pair then moving Sanheim makes sense.
No one will give value for Ghost IMO, Flyers stuck with him.</div></div>
It's more of our left defense prospect pipeline that's good. Our current left side could be more unstable if an injury occurs. It consists of Provorov on pairing one, Sanheim on pairing two, and Ghost/Hagg on pairing three. I personally don't want Ghost or Hagg to end up being on the second pairing as of right now. So yeah, until Cam York or Yegor Zamula become full-time, top-4 defensemen, Sanheim will stay put.
Also, Ghost played pretty good tonight, looking like he did a few years back. However, I think you're right that no one will give up much for Ghost since most teams don't recognize his talent or understand his situation with Philly.

Do you think Flyers would consider trading Sanheim?</div></div>
Maybe later on since we're loaded with left-handed defensemen. He's also capable with playing on the right side in case we're desperate of a right handed dman, which we could be. If we ever do look to shop him then it won't be for another season or two.

We probably have more belief in him than anybody lol. We really don't have any other options for better young right-handed defensemen.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>krzyk0</b></div><div>Myers is a regular and apart of the top 4. He's been on the second pair with Sanheim for the past few months, now. He's out now because he fractured his knee blocking a shot. The main reason he was sent down in the beginning of the season was cap related with him being the only d-man who didn't have to clear waivers. With Myers being the only promising young RHD in the organization, you would probably have to get up more than he's worth.</div></div>
