<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>No, this is flawed at its base. Necas is the better player between him and Caufield, and while Caufield is younger, his setting career highs with 50 points. Necas is coming off a 70 point year. Montreal need to be the one adding here, not Carolina. If you drop Harris, Strubble, and the 1st, it's probably closer to a realistic deal for Carolina. As it, easy no.</div></div>
Read my other comment u sound like a fool and know nothing abt caufields game
In total games played each player has
Necas has 4 seasons and 27 games
Caufield has 2 seasons and 33 games
Caufield better point scoring percentage in reg and playoffs better goal scorer as necas has 2 more goals then him this season with 4 less points then caufield
Last season 28 goals in 82 caufield 26 in 46 the year before that 78 games for necas 14 goals 26 assist 40 pts caufield 67 games 23 goals 20 assist 43 pts on arguably the worst habs team and history and im pretty sure most injuries in nhl history. Year before that was caufields rookie year scoring at a 32 goal paste and necas scored at a 21 in pretty much his second season games wise. So yea care to rebuttal????

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Necas, in this example, signs 8 years meaning the control argument is nonsense. It actually would favor the team having Necas. Caufield's not a better scorer if he can't stay in the lineup to score goals. Necas, ironically, has a better career high in goals. Necas is the better player, he's the more valuable player with an 8 year deal like this.</div></div>
Let’s just say caufield has a better point scoring percentage career wise 71.7 and necas at 68.17 and necas has been on a wagon team btw they dont suck.
Necas has 2 more goals then caufield this season and 4 less points on a good team btw. Last season necas had 28 goals in 82 and caufield had 26 in 46 yes necas is the better scorer 😂 oh and the year before that had 9 more goals 3 more pts in 11 less games on a horrible mtl team like they havent been that bad and that much injuries since ww2. Caufield younger better contract can score better playmaker better playoff performer
Want me to keep cooking? 😭😭

armia is good bro kills penalties scores and shutdown good on boards he just has a bad contract lol every team would want him at 1 mil

one more thing to add is if monahan is not good but is top 5 on the habs scoring can u tell me the players he plays with?
your top guys to add at center would be
lindholm
monahan
kuznetsov
Roslovic
henrique
that being said not much talent with cheap contracts monahan has the best contract best faceoff % and has been good on the bumper for pp and plays with bum vets like gally pearson armia or guys like ylonen who just arent talented anymore or yet.
the other contracts are bigger and more expensive to trade for
unless you wanna break up ur top line and move miller down and kuzy back with petty ur gonna need to fill that hole.

little moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hckeydude123</b></div><div>Depending on the situation I'd agree with you. But you have consider everything the picture has to offer. Matheson is playing an average of 25 mins per night and has 23 points where Spence is playing 15 mins a night and has 9 points. I'd argue that if Spence was playing 25 mins a night like Matheson is he would be right around the same point total as Matheson. If you look at their advanced stats Matheson is currently at 1.74 points per 60mins and Spence is 1.73 per 60mins so they are both producing at the same rate just one guy is playing a lot more than the other. So big game moments sure I'd take Matheson but a full regular at their current cap hits I'd take Spence 10/10 times.</div></div>
Forget spence in general hes a rhd and great 3rd guy whos young and has good top 4 potential
Matheson has proved in the last 3 years to be molding into a elite top 4 dmen are u gonna tell me smo who has 52 pts in 74gms with mtl a bad dog**** mtl is better then englund and bjornfot who have a combined 2 goals in 220 games and under 30pts only difference is they have combined +8 and matheson has -10 but on la that can def change imagine 3yrs 4.8 50 pt mtl player on a power house team like la

Id rather a vet who can get 50pts then a rookie for a cup run.
