Jets get Monahan
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CD25</b></div><div>Pretty sure the Jets' fanbase will strongly disagree with you here. And I am not convinced we can get that much more for Monahan and Savard. The Lindholm deal is good news, be we can't fool ourselves, Monahan won't fetch anywhere close to that kind of return. And Savard... meh. He's worth much more to us that to any contender.</div></div>
Savard could feltch something around Second or third round pick + an prospect to the good team in need of defenseman for playoff. Something like Savard 50% retain for Ethan Gauthier with an third round pick maybe ?
Monahan while not as valuable as Lindholm would at least get first round pick and someone like a prospect b or a maybe.

Could Monahan and Ryan Suzuki being in same trade ? That an possibly but not a chance in hell that Hurricane trade Jarvis.
And Tampa's don't need anymore forward but more defenseman with all the injury right now.

Rangers need center and not an winger. So they will probably trying to acquire someone like Monahan or Coleman if available to meet the needed.

Also it’s been reported we aren’t interested in Monahan</div></div>
With Lindholm trade I don't see why Canucks would want or need Monahan.
And your right Anderson won't be use there and with is contract he would be an problem for Canucks this summer resigning face.

My guess
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Capsfan1211</b></div><div>I was close lol</div></div>
Yep close the only thing different is Hunter Brzustewicz and not Tucker poolman.
At the end it's:
Hunter Brzustewicz + Andrei Kuzmenko + Joni Jurmo + first round pick 2024 pick and conditional Fourth round pick 2024 for Elias Lindholm.
Pretty decent deal for both team, Hunter is a beast right now in OHL and could be an valuable piece when ready.
Just hoping this is the dominoes trade that was need to see the trade market open and see some movement in the next day and there could be another trade between both team soon as the speculation is that Tanev want to join Canucks also.

Offseason Move Ullmark to NJ
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>How's that Carey Price contract working out?
Why is it that despite the salary cap going up, goalie contracts have gone down.
Why is it that goalies don't go very high in drafts anymore?
Why is it that no goalie has returned a haul in a long time?
Could it be that goalie valuations league wide are going down, not up?
Neither Suzuki or Caufield took a paycut or discount of any kind.
None of Horvat, Schiefele, Hellebuyuck, or Sorokin took a discount.</div></div>
The only reason Price is not playing again is because one as shole cheap shot to the knee cut is career to abrupt end other wise he would probably still in the top 3 or 5 minimum.
At same time it hard to receive an big haul for an goaltender when there no true number one available to be traded.

I'm shocked by such a low return and I was definitely on the lower end of what most expected Lindholm to be traded for this year...</div></div>
It's it confirmed that the trade happen ?? or it's just still in speculation about possible Lindholm to Vancouver and package deal with Kuzmenko to Calgary ??

Offseason Move Ullmark to NJ
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>
Goalies simply aren't valued nearly as much by actual NHL front offices as they are by fans.
</div></div>
Meanwhile Carey Price is pay 10.5m ( top 3 goalie) versus Pacioretty who was Montreal captain and first scorer for the team.
So yeah I'm pretty sure team like good goaltender.
Schiefele was always an good offensive center he just lacking on defensive end but this season he have show that he's able to be responsable when he want and still produce. 41 pts in 41 game +18 is an good season that prove he's an elite center in the league.
And the reason both player have the same money is because both take a good deal to have enough money and leave some to the team to add other piece.
Look at what Caufield and Suzuki have made both take team deal and the team will be better in the end with that fact. I'm sure the same will happen on Winnipeg soon.
Also Boston is an good team where big player have accepted to take reduction to stay on the team like Bergeron and the most hated player in the league Marchand have take good team friendly deal and that one of the reason why the team have been so dominant over the year. Both goaltender could do the same with the team if they still wanted to play together. The meta right now is to have two goaltender 1 to be able to spread equally between both to still have fuel in the tank for the series.

5 years your generous I would think that they would be more into rebuild for the next 10 years as there no other talent as kaprisov level in the prospect pool.
What really hurt the team is the fuc king buyout salary they have done other wise they would have the cash to add one or more good piece and be more competitive right now.

With all bolts injury at the defense they could use an known player to add more experience and stability. But at same time they are really neat the cap space so if there an trade for one I think they would prefer to have retention included.
Lightning don't have alot of interesting pick to give which mean they would probably need to select in is prospect pool to add depth at the deadline. I'm just not sure they would want to trade Gauthier yet as he seem an good kid with interesting potential.
As Montreal is pretty good with defense prospect they would probably target forward.

Way to costly to buyout him this summer, with 3 years left he would cost around 1.5 to 2.6 in cap space for the next 6 years. Holland is trying to get someone get him for the price of Broberg which is too low.

TEXAS TIGER
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheMooterus</b></div><div>Correct, Heiskanen does play the right side. He's been out for the last month and Dallas' defense has been pretty abhorrent since then. With Heiskanen out, Harley is the only legitimate top-4 caliber defenseman that Dallas has.
- Lindell is not what he used to be and can only play in certain situations, good 3rd pair shutdown guy if used in a limited role
- Suter is one of the slowest defesnemen in the league at this point
- Hakanpaa has the worst hands of any defenseman I've ever seen, only semi-useful on the PK
- Lundkvist is John Klingberg but without any of the offense (atrocious defensively)
- Hanley is a good 7th defenseman
Dallas currently has as their top-9:
Robertson-Hintz-Pavelski
Marchment-Seguin-Duchene
Benn-Johnston-Dadonov
Are you really going to try and tell me that swapping their #9 forward for Coleman is Dallas' biggest need right now? Because that's not true at all. And that will lead me into the 2nd point I'll make here...
If Dallas did want to replace Dadonov in the lineup, why wouldn't they just call up one of the two prospects that currently lead the AHL in scoring (Bourque or Stankoven)? It would be far cheaper, Dallas gets to keep their top prospect, and they can shift their focus elsewhere, like fixing the defense.
And yes, Stankoven is Dallas' top prospect. The whole "bUt He'S oNlY 5'8" argument doesn't hold much water when he torches opposing defenses the way he does. DeBrincat is small, Tyler Johnson is small, Cole Caufield is small, Mats Zuccarello is small, Cam Atkinson is small, I could go on for a little bit. Point being that the size of a player doesn't mean as much in today's NHL as it did 25 years ago. The game is getting faster, more agile & less physical.
When you lead the WHL in scoring in your U18 season, trail only Connor Bedard in your U19 season, and currently lead the AHL in scoring AS A ROOKIE yeah he's definitely Dallas' top prospect. Bourque and Bichsel are close behind him, but Stankoven still sits at #1
TLDR; Stars don't need Coleman, they need defense & Dallas isn't trading away their top prospect.
P.S. - Also the cap space doesn't work, so there's that</div></div>
I'm curious to know which defenseman you would remove of Dallas and to which you would remplace him for ??
I try to see who would be change and even if they have there own weakness they are doing okay stats wise. Dallas is also near cap limit so that limit they're options.
Money wise I could see Lindell or Suter or old wise Suter or hakanpaa but like I say they are doing okay and already know Dallas gameplay. It's hard decision I think.
