<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>herzausstein</b></div><div>It all depends on how some of our prospects turn out.

Tolvanen is kind of regressing
Kunin looks good
Tomasino is having a good year especially when you consider how little time he’s been given on ice
Jeannot is a beast
Trenin is moving along

Other then them its a lot more guesswork.
Evangelista, afanasyev, L’Heureux, and Svechkov look like they could turn into top 6 players. Del Gaizo, Farrance, Ufko are interesting dmen that could pan out. Saros is still young and should have several years infront of him but Askarov still looks like the future. A lot of questions, I still wonder if signing Forsberg long term is the right answer but I don’t want to trade him unless he will not extend.</div></div>

Have to disagree with Eeli regressing. Agreeing with all the other assessments. Yes, his goals and assist numbers aren't what we expected but every other area of his game is up hits, defense, possession numbers and etc. I think he just isn't getting the puck luck and it's got his confidence down a bit. As long as he keeps firing he will be fine.

In other terms, Preds do a fantastic job at making players be well rounded in their game and you can see that in players that have gone through the system. I think they have done a good job of late drafting players that can be top 6 forwards compared to prior years. Just gotta hope one of these guys turns into gold.

As great as Forsberg has been they should trade him. Will limit the future for spending and team would probably still be that same bubble playoff team without him. Poile usual does the opposite of anything I suggest though, so he's probably a lock to stay.
